Kai is the middle character of our founder & chef Simon's Chinese name — and in te reo Māori, kai means food.
So Pizza Kai is the meeting point between Simon's Chinese background and the life he's built here in Aotearoa. One word, two stories, and a whole lot of pizza.
Quality is the heart of it. We make New York–style pizza with a thin, crispy crust and that classic fold. Almost everything is made from scratch — all our sauces, and dough that goes through a full 72-hour ferment before it ever sees the oven.
- Thin & crispy crust
- 72-hour fermented dough
- Scratch-made sauces
- Whole / half / by the slice
